Before winter riding season hits, put a wrench on the bolts holding your battery mount and locking plate. A whole summer of vibration loosens them up, and a wobbly pack wears out its contacts fast.
Snug them down — don't overtorque — and make sure the locking plate still clicks shut solid. Five minutes now saves you a dead bike on a cold day.
