Before you swap parts hoping for a fix, grab a multimeter. Set it to DC volts to check that the battery is actually putting out power, then use the continuity beep to track down a broken wire. One hard rule from the shop: never go poking around inside a live high-voltage pack — test with the power off and the wires easy to reach.
