Blue ones are for thinner wire bundles, grey ones for thicker — grab the wrong size and it'll spin loose or leave bare copper showing past the skirt. Strip about half an inch, twist the bare wires together clockwise, screw the connector on snug, and give each wire a solid tug before you call it done.
