Your lights, horn, and turn signals run on 12V — not pack voltage. Here's how each connection works:
1. DC-DC converter IN — fed from the main battery pack. Check your label for the right input rating. 2. DC-DC converter OUT — steady 12V output powering the whole small-side system. 3. Key switch — gates power to the 12V side, so nothing is live with the key out. 4. Headlight — runs off the 12V feed, through the handlebar light switch. 5. Brake light — powered from 12V, triggered by the brake switch when you brake. 6. Horn — the handlebar button completes the 12V circuit.
Labels on the graphic are functions, not wire colors — every brand wires a little differently, so match by function and double-check your labels.
