🛠 Instructional Guide #7: Your Monthly E-Bike Health Check

Do this once a month and your bike will thank you:

1. Battery — eyeball the pack for swelling, cracked casing, or loose mounting. Give the discharge contacts a quick wipe with a dry cloth.

2. Tires — pump to your sidewall's max PSI, then check for sidewall cracks, cuts, or tread worn smooth. Dry rot hides in the grooves.

3. Brakes — check pad wear (replace if under ~2 mm of pad left), squeeze the levers for a firm feel, and check cables for fraying.

4. Bolts — headset, stem, seatpost, axle nuts, motor mounting bolts. Vibration loosens fasteners fast, so give them a snug cross-pattern check.

5. Chain & drivetrain — clean it, lube it, and check tension/stretch. A worn chain eats your sprockets.

6. Electrics — spin the throttle, check brake cut-offs, lights, horn, and display. Catch a glitch now, not at 25 km/h.

Stumped by something on the list? Swing by the shop — we'll sort it out together. 🔋⚡
