1. Battery + / Battery −: the two big leads carry full pack voltage to the controller. Keep them thick, short, and away from sharp frame edges.
2. Discharge connector: the main plug between pack and controller — it must be rated for your current. Loose or undersized = heat.
3. Inline fuse (or breaker): sits on the + lead near the battery. Without it, one short can cook your wiring — never bypass it.
4. Disconnect / switch: cuts power for storage and wiring work. Always disconnect the battery BEFORE touching any wiring.
5. BMS discharge lead: the battery's own protection circuit watches for over-current and under-voltage — don't bypass it to "fix" cutouts.
