October is the month I hit every plug and connector on the bike with dielectric grease. Winter moisture loves to creep into those little connection points and corrode them — then come spring you're chasing a dead display or a throttle that cuts out for no reason. A small dab on the battery cradle contacts, the motor cable plug, and the display connector keeps the water out. Cheap insurance, and your spring self will thank you.
