Cold is the number one killer of e-bike batteries here in Canada. If you're parking your bike for the winter, store the battery indoors at room temperature, charged to about 60% — never leave it fully charged or fully dead. Give it a top-up every month or so, because lithium cells slowly self-discharge and dropping too low can brick the pack for good.
