Cut-outs, flickering displays, and weak throttles are very often just dirty or corroded contacts. Power the bike off first, unplug the connector, and gently clean the metal pins with a dry brush or a cotton swab and a little electrical contact cleaner — never spray anything into a connector that's live. Let it dry fully before plugging it back in, and half the time the symptoms are just gone.
