Skipping gears or rough shifting on your e-bike? Nine times out of ten it's just a cable that's stretched a little. While pedaling, turn the barrel adjuster a quarter-turn counter-clockwise to nudge the chain toward the bigger cog — tiny adjustments, one gear at a time. If it's still noisy, check that the derailleur hanger isn't bent, because a bent hanger causes half the shifting problems I see.
